Part of being human is to make mistakes and be imperfect.
Today I visited someone I hadn’t visited for a very long time. Partly because of health circumstances, but also partly because of an accumulating sense of guilt.
I am very glad that I’m forgiven, by God and by the person I visited today as well. The hardest thing is self-forgiveness though, but when I look at the cross on which Jesus died, I think: who am I to deny myself forgiveness if God has given it to me so freely?
‘To err is human, to forgive divine’

Oh, yes….. Forgiveness, a very important issue.
Actually, there are three points keeping me busy sometimes.
Forgiving others, and forgiving yourself; like you said.
And here’s another difficult issue; accepting yourself; as you are.
Even when you don’t feel you’r God’s beloved child.
Crucial things in life. To realize this, it’s progress. Well, you know….
Maybe ‘perfection’ can be one of your next theme’s? 😉
Peace and blessings,
